Imagine a large banyan tree, its roots completely interconnected. Imagine a sea of stories, with infinite, colourful, and entangled story threads, that tell stories of hope, resilience, agency, change, of complexities, and diverse emotions, of people and their lives.
The StoryBeings Festival amplifies voices from marginalized communities, using digital storytelling to share powerful, personal journeys. Celebrating resilience, identity, and creativity, the festival breaks down barriers and invites audiences to see the world through new perspectives. It’s more than a festival—it’s a movement for empathy and inclusivity.
Explore unique digital stories that are made by adolescent girls, young women, trans individuals, queer youth, and women in sex work that are from different parts of India, using simple and powerful storytelling tools, to talk about their dreams, hopes, desires, experiences, aspirations and more. Use them as knowledge tools, as insights into people's lives.
