Dhwani Vij is a theatre Director/Performer/Educator, based in Delhi. She is one of the founding members of a Delhi based drama group, Third Space Collective. She was awarded the Vinod Doshi Scholarship for exceptional work in performance. Her previous directorial projects with Third Space Collective include Dastaan-e-Bhookh (an acclaimed production based on Sam Shepard's Curse of the Starving Class), Pascualnama (stage adaptation of Camilo José Cela's seminal novel The Family of Pascual Duarte, commissioned by The Spanish Cultural Centre). Currently, she is leading the arts department at Shiv Nadar School, using art integration to teach skills of mindfulness, critical thinking, empathy and emotional well-being to learners.
Sanyukta Saha's practice is at intersection of theatre, education, and community engagement. Driven by this love for theatre, Sanyukta pursued an MA in Theatre and Development Studies as an Inlaks Scholar at the University of Leeds. Returning to Delhi, she played a pivotal role as Programme Coordinator, Arts Education, at the Aga Khan Foundation's Nizamuddin Urban Renewal initiative. Dedicated to social justice, Sanyukta founded Aagaaz, an arts-based organization fostering community-led transformation through theatre. Recognized as an UnLtd. India Fellow and Arthink South Asia Fellow, she gained crucial support. Concurrently, she contributed as a Drama in Schools Instructor, Corporate Trainer, and Associate Artist with Think Arts, employing theatre for positive change and artistic expression.
Neha Singh is an award-winning children’s author with 11 published titles to her name, and has published regularly in various children’s magazines. She has won the South Asia Book Award for her book I Need to Pee. Neha also spearheads a women’s rights campaign called “Why Loiter” to reclaim public spaces for women. For this work, she was chosen as one of 100 most influential women in the world by the BBC in 2016. Neha also runsher own company, Rahi Theatre, where she writes, acts, directs and produces experimental plays.
An actor, devising theatre maker acting trainer, who believes that theatre makes lives better. Navigating performance of gender in female and gender marginalised bodies - socially and in performing arts through her/their practice. Works for theatre's accessibility and impact in community development, theatre training and collaborative non-hierarchal performance creation.
Mumal Tanwar, presently working as a visiting faculty of Theatre Studies at the Rajasthan College is a theatre director of the state who has consistently presented women’s issues, perspective and personality on stage in innovative as well as effective manner. A biology graduate with Masters in Dramatic Arts from Rajasthan University, in her early career Mumal has held important positions with organisations like PRAVAH and NAYI BHOR as youth and theatre facilitator and social media manager and worked with young community and on gender equality, self awareness and conflict management. She facilitated a Self exploratory theatre workshop for the rural women at PANS India organisation and also lead the ‘Unmanifesto‘ project for youth for UNFPA in 2016. Mumal has taught as a visiting faculty of performing arts at IIS University (2018-23) and is presently the first fellow with the New Voices Arts Project Fellowship (2022-24).
